Easter eggs have a unique appeal to beaders and crafters. Their naturally smooth shape is not only pretty to the eyes, but it is also one of the strongest shapes in nature. Add a bit of onion skin or beet juice, and they are also very decorative.

ReplyDeleteVery nice! Thanks for mantioning the Romanian beaded eggs. As a Romanian I can tell you they are not real eggs, they are made of wood, then put in some bee wax and then every little bead is "glued" by hand to the wax.
